By accessing or using the Occasio platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Occasio is a curated event marketplace that connects event hosts with attendees across the United States. We provide a platform for discovering, listing, and purchasing tickets to events. All events are reviewed by our moderation team before being published.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. Event Hosts

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, including descriptions, dates, venues, and ticket pricing. All events are subject to review and approval before publication. Occasio reserves the right to reject or remove any event listing at its discretion.

5. Ticket Purchases

When you purchase a ticket through Occasio, you enter into a transaction with the event host. Occasio facilitates the payment process and ticket delivery but is not the event organizer. Ticket availability, pricing, and event details are determined by the host.

6. Fees

Occasio charges a platform fee on ticket transactions. The fee structure is transparently displayed during checkout. Depending on the event configuration, fees may be paid by the attendee (added to ticket price) or absorbed by the host.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund policies are determined by individual event hosts. If an event is cancelled by the host, attendees will be eligible for a full refund. For specific refund requests, please contact the event host directly or reach out to our support team.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Create fraudulent event listings or ticket purchases
• Attempt to circumvent our security measures
• Resell tickets obtained through the Service without authorization
• Impersonate any person or entity

9. Intellectual Property

The Occasio platform, including its design, logos, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Occasio provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of events listed on the platform. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees collected by Occasio in connection with the relevant transaction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the platform.
